Snow and Cold

First off, with the current temperature projections, December will end about 4.0 degrees below normal.  More on this when the December climate review comes out Friday.

Anyway, we will spend the majority of the time this week in sub-freezing temperatures as cold fronts continue to visit the area.  The next bubble of cold high pressure is moving in today, another one is due in on the 1st of the year.

There is also a snow chance coming up.  A system coming out of the southwest late Tuesday and Wednesday appears to be strong enough to lay down perhaps an inch or two of snow.  This system is a bit moisture starved but should still produce noticeable snow.

This will be discussed on “Upstream”tonight at 11 pm.  WebcamMax updated their software which makes it easier for me to show weather charts and loops now.
